Inciteful, Inc. (“Inciteful”, “we” or “us”) is committed to the privacy of our customers, website visitors, and users of our products and services. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) discloses what information is gathered about visitors to our website (“Website”) and users of our products and services, including our artificial intelligence driven platform (the “Platform”). We refer to the Website and the Platform together as the “Services.”

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your Personal Information in connection with your use of the Services.

• Artificial Intelligence Providers. Our platform uses proprietary machine learning algorithms to analyze and retrieve relevant scientific information based on your input. We leverage AI technology—including enterprise-grade third-party large language models (LLMs) from AI providers—to summarize your input for our machine learning algorithms to process. Additionally, AI helps simplify complex scientific information returned by the algorithm and generate the results you receive (Output). These third-party AI providers may have access to the Input you provide, such as symptoms. While we use trusted enterprise-grade AI services that contractually promise data privacy, we strongly recommend that you DO NOT INCLUDE ANY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION in your Input as an extra precaution.
• Payment and Billing Processors. In addition to the service providers above, we share Personal Information with payment processing and billing service providers. We currently use Stripe.
• Parties to Business Transactions. In the event of an anticipated or actual merger or acquisition, bankruptcy or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, we may transfer or allow third parties to use information owned or controlled by us, including Personal Information. We reserve the right, in connection with these types of transactions, to transfer, share, assign, or sell your Personal Information and other information we have collected to third parties or to authorize such third parties to use any such information including for due diligence as part of any of the transactions described in this paragraph. Any Personal Information you submit or that is collected after this type of transfer may be subject to a new privacy policy adopted by the successor entity.
• Government and Law Enforcement. We may share your Personal Information with individuals or private parties where necessary to enforce and comply with the law, to protect our property or legal rights, for the safety of the public or any person, to prevent harm, to protect the security and integrity of the Services and any equipment used to make the Services available.

If for any reason you would no longer like to receive email marketing messages from us, you may Unsubscribe by following the instructions contained within our promotional emails. Please allow up to ten (10) days for us to process your request. Please note, if you opt not to receive marketing emails from us, you may still receive "transactional" email messages regarding your account, use of the Website, or your order (e.g., order confirmation, shipping information, customer service notifications, etc.). 8. LEAVING OUR SERVICES AND/OR LINKING TO THIRD PARTIES

When you leave our Website or Platform and go to another linked site, we are not responsible for the content or availability of the linked site. Please be advised that we do not represent either the third party or you, if you enter into a transaction on the third-party site. Further, the privacy and security policies of the linked site may differ from ours.

9. DE-IDENTIFIED / AGGREGATED DATA

We may aggregate or de-identify Personal Information we collect through our Services and when operating our business. For example, we may aggregate Personal Information to calculate the percentage of users in a particular zip code. Once information or data has been de-identified and/or aggregated, such information is no longer Personal Information.

10. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Our Services are operated in the United States and intended for users located in the United States. Like almost every website, our Website can be accessed by an international audience. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that information we collect, including Personal Information, will be transferred to, processed, stored and used in the United States. The data protection laws in the United States may differ from those of the country in which you are located, and your Personal Information may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, or law enforcement in the United States according to laws of the United States. In addition, such data may be stored on servers located outside your resident jurisdiction and in jurisdictions which may have less stringent privacy practices than your own.

11. CALIFORNIA’S SHINE THE LIGHT ACT

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers of a company who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the Personal Information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of Personal Information that were shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding twelve (12) calendar months. 12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not direct or target our Website to anyone under the age of 18 and we do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to use our Platform. We will make reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases.
