A question is one thing you ask us to research. Follow-up questions in the same thread count too, because each one runs real research.
How many you get
Without an account: 5 questions in total, on that device and browser. When you reach the end you will see Free questions used. Creating an account is free and keeps the research you have already done.
On the free Starter plan: 10 questions a month.
On Personal and Family: unlimited.

When the count resets
The app tells you the exact date when you get close, so you never have to work it out.
If you change plan part-way through a month, your allowance starts fresh from the moment the change takes effect.
When you run out
Nothing is lost and nothing is deleted. Every answer you have already received stays available. You can wait for the reset, or move to a plan without a monthly cap.
